Maggie brings a distinguished career spanning sustainability, philanthropy, and municipal leadership to her role at the firm, where she leads the strategy and collaboration design practice. She specializes in helping clients align around shared goals and deliver measurable, lasting impact.
In the philanthropic sector, Maggie held leadership roles at the ClimateWorks Foundation, where she staffed The Funders Table, a global collaboration among the world’s largest international climate funders.
She has designed and implemented regranting programs and advised regional, national, and international foundations on climate and sustainability strategy. Maggie also co-founded and served as the Executive Director of the Southeast Sustainability Directors Network, which now connects more than 110 cities across the Southern U.S.
Maggie currently serves on the Asheville City Council, where her professional and public service paths converged on September 27, 2024, when Tropical Storm Helene devastated the city. As Chair of the Planning, Economic Development, and Environment Committee, she leads local recovery efforts following the storm, which claimed 176 lives. Her commitment to public service is longstanding—she was the city’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, where she launched the South’s first municipal climate action program and led a 17.65% reduction in Asheville’s carbon footprint.
